It operates using the standard 5V±5A USB voltage. We advise against using high-voltage power sources to charge the OpenFit Air, as this may cause damage. Can I wear just one earbud, or are both needed?
Both earbuds are designed for independent use, allowing for mono music playback or calls. When used individually, each earbud maintains its respective button functionality.
Under what circumstance will OpenFit Air enter standby mode?
When the earbuds are not placed in the charging case and remain disconnected from Bluetooth devices for 3 minutes, they will enter standby mode to preserve battery life.

How to download the Shokz App?
You can search "Shokz" on the App Store or Google Play to download Shokz App.
Which model does Shokz App compatible with?
Shokz App is only compatible with OpenRun Pro, OpenSwim Pro, OpenFit and OpenFit Air.
What device and operating system does Shokz App require?
Shokz App is compatible with mobile phones only, other devices like laptops, PC, tablets PC/Pad are not supported yet.
The OS of your mobile would require at least iOS13.0 / Android 8.0 or above. .
How to connect the Shokz App with OpenFit Air?
The steps are suitable for first connecting and after resetting.
- Place both earbuds into the charging case;
- Press and hold the touch area of the earbuds with two fingers simultaneously until the indicator lights flash orange and green, which indicates the earbuds have entered pairing mode
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone, select “OpenFit Air by Shokz” to pair with.
- Open the Shokz App and follow the steps on the screen.
How to confirm the connection with the Shokz App is successful?
After connecting with the Shokz App, you can try to do any operation on the homepage, and the earbuds acts appropriately including changing EQ, changing volume, skip to the next song.
Can I pair OpenFit Air with multiple devices?
In the Shokz App, OpenFit Air can support two devices for pairing at the same time. Please update the Shokz App to the latest version in the App Store. Follow the instructions to update the headphone firmware to the latest version. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your pairing device.
- Start by selecting “MultiPoint Pairing” in the Shokz App.
- On the pop-up page, confirm to open the MultiPoint Pairing function.
- Select "Connect To The Second Device" and follow the instructions to establish a connection with the second device.
- Your headphones are now connected to two devices. You can manage their Bluetooth connections conveniently through the Shokz App.
About the registration on the Shokz App.
‒ You can register your OpenSwim Pro with the serial number on the Shokz App setting.
‒ App allows up to 20 products to be registered.
‒ To modify the registration, kindly delete the registration and register again with correct information.

What devices will OpenFit Air pair with?
OpenFit Air will pair with most Bluetooth devices that use Bluetooth 3.1 or higher, including phones, tablets, computers and watches. It will not pair with some transmitters.
How do I pair OpenFit Air with my device?
When using for the first time: Open the charging case to immediately enter Bluetooth pairing mode, with the indicator light flashing orange and green. For subsequent pairings:
- Place both earbuds into the charging case;
- Simultaneously press and hold the touch area of both earbuds with two fingers (one finger per earbud) until the indicator lights flash orange and green, indicating that the earbuds have entered pairing mode;
- Enable the Bluetooth function and select "OpenFit Air by Shokz." The device will display the successful pairing when complete.
How do I remove all connected devices on my OpenFit Air?
You can change the devices to which your OpenFit Air is paired by resetting it, and then pairing the new devices. To reset OpenFit Air:
- Place both earbuds in the charging case.
- Press and hold the touch area of two earbuds for 15 seconds simultaneously. The orange light in the box will flash for 5 seconds and then go out, indicating that the reset is complete. At this time, the status light in the charging box will flash alternately orange and green, which can be used directly for pairing.
OpenFit Air needs pairing with new devices under pairing mode.
Kindly delete the previous connection on your device and search for OpenFit Ait to pair again.
How do I check the OpenFit Air charging case and earbuds battery status?
When the earbuds are in the charging case, the indicator displays the earbud battery level.
High battery level: When opening, the green light goes off after 5 seconds.
Low battery level: When opening, the orange light goes off after 5 seconds.
*Note: When both earbuds are placed in the charging case, the indicator displays the power level of the earbud with the lower battery level.
When the earbuds are not in the charging case, the indicator displays the charging case battery level.
Charging case with high battery level: The green light turns off after 5 seconds upon opening or closing the case.
Charging case with low battery level: The orange light turns off after 5 seconds upon opening or closing the case.
Furthermore, the function also can be accessed by the Shokz App easily.

Troubleshooting
My OpenFit Air is not disconnected from the device after putting it into the charging case.
If your OpenFit Air is not disconnected from the device after putting it into the charging case, there are usually three reasons why this might be happening. You can try to do that by the following instructions:
- Make sure the earbuds are in contact with the charging case pin point. If not, simply reposition them until they click into place.
- Make sure the charging case is closed.
- Check if the charging case has enough power. If it's low on power, simply charge the OpenFit Air.

When the OpenFit Air charging case is connected to an external power supply, the state indicator won't light.
Please check the power supply is workable and make sure the charging port is dry. If yes, try another USB-C charging cable or charger again.

The volume of the left and right earbuds is not consistent.
When using it for the first time: please adjust the wearing position of the earbud until sounds in the same volume.

My OpenFit Air earbud's touch area won't work.
Make sure you touch the correct button in the earbud area and check the earbuds if have power.
If yes, please try to follow the steps:
1. Check if the OpenFit Air is connected to the device.
2. Disconnect the OpenFit Air.
3. Reconnect the OpenFit Air. If the problem still exists, you can file a warranty claim
here within 2-year warranty period.
My OpenFit Air only has sound on one side.
If using a phone, please check your accessibility settings to ensure the volume is equally balanced between both left and right sides.
After checking the phone’s accessibility settings, please try to follow the step:
- Charge the earbuds for a while.
