How do I turn on/off my OpenFit?
If the earbuds are in the charging case when opened, the state indicators of the earbuds and the charging Case will be on, and the earbuds will be on.
When the charging case is closed after the two earbuds are placed inside, the earbuds will be switched off.
How to charge the OpenFit earbuds?
Place the earbuds in the charging case and adjust them until they are magnetically attached. Close the charging case when the indicator light of the earbuds is on, the earbuds will start charging.
How to charge the OpenFit charging case?
Please use the included USB charging cable to charge the charging case. Use a soft dry cloth to wipe any liquid residue from the charging port.
How long does it take to charge the OpenFit earbuds?
Charge the earbuds with the charging case: 60 minutes.
Note: This data was gathered at the Shokz Lab in a temperature-controlled environment of 25±2 °C. The actual battery life depends on the volume, sound source, degree of environmental interference, product features, use habits, and other factors.
How long does it take to charge the OpenFit charging case?
It takes approx. 2 hours for the charging case to be fully charged. The charging case uses the standard 5V±5A USB volt-age. Using a high-voltage power source to charge the earbuds is not recommended. It may also take longer to charge the charging case with a third-party charging cable.
Can I wear just one earbud, or are both needed?
Both earbuds support independent use for mono music or calls. When used alone, the earbud retains the function of its touch area.

How to download the Shokz App?
You can search "Shokz" on the App Store or Google Play to download Shokz App.
Which model does Shokz App compatible with?
Shokz App is only compatible with OpenRun Pro and OpenFit.
What device and operating system does Shokz App require?
Shokz App is compatible with mobile phones only, other devices like laptops, PC, tablets PC/Pad are not supported yet.
The OS of your mobile would require at least iOS13.0 / Android 8.0 or above.
How to connect the Shokz App with OpenFit?
The steps are suitable for first connecting and after resetting.
- Place both earbuds into the charging case;
- Press and hold the touch area of the earbuds with two fingers simultaneously until the indicator lights flash orange and green, which indicates the earbuds have entered pairing mode
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone, select “OpenFit by Shokz” to pair with.
- Open the Shokz App and follow the steps on the screen.
How to confirm the connection with the Shokz App is successful?
After connecting with the Shokz App, you can try to do any operation on the homepage, and the earbuds acts appropriately including changing EQ, changing volume, skip to the next song.
About the registration on the Shokz App.
‒ You can register your OpenSwim Pro with the serial number on the Shokz App setting.
‒ App allows up to 5 products to be registered.
‒ To modify the registration, kindly delete the registration and register again with correct information.

I can't log in on the App suddenly.

The Shokz App can't connect with OpenFit.
You can try to do that by the following instructions:
- Place both earbuds into the charging case;
- Press and hold the touch area of the earbuds with two fingers simultaneously until the indicator lights flash orange and green, which indicates the earbuds have entered pairing mode;
- Enable the Bluetooth function and select "OpenFit by Shokz." The device will display the successful pairing when complete.
- Open the Shokz App and follow the steps on the screen.
The Shokz App doesn’t work with OpenFit.
You can try to do that by the following instructions:
- Place both earbuds into the charging case;

OpenFit has four built-in EQ modes:

What devices will OpenFit pair with?
OpenFit will pair with most Bluetooth devices that use Bluetooth 3.1 or higher, including phones, tablets, computers and watches. It will not pair with some transmitters.
How do I pair OpenFit with my device?
When using for the first time: Open the charging case to immediately enter Bluetooth pairing mode, with the indicator lights in the case flashing orange and green.
For subsequent pairings:
- Place both earbuds into the charging case;
- Press and hold the touch area of the earbuds with two fingers simultaneously until the indicator lights flash orange and green, which indicates the earbuds have entered pairing mode;
- Enable the Bluetooth function and select "OpenFit by Shokz." The device will display the successful pairing when complete.
Can I pair OpenFit with multiple devices?
Yes. OpenFit can support two devices for pairing at the same time. More information please refer to the link.
How do I remove all connected devices on my OpenFit?
You can change the devices to which your OpenFit is paired by resetting it, and then pairing the new devices. To reset OpenFit:
- Place both earbuds in the charging case.
- Press and hold the touch area of two earbuds for 15 seconds simultaneously. The orange light in the box will flash for 5 seconds and then go out, indicating that the reset is complete.
FAt this time, the status light in the charging case will flash alternately orange and green, which can be used directly for pairing.
After resetting, the OpenFit will clear all connected devices before. OpenFit needs pairing with new devices under pairing mode.
How do I check the OpenFit earbud's battery status?
The earbud state indicator is located between the two earbuds in the charging case, informing the state of charge of the earbuds.
High battery level: When opening, the green light goes off after 5 seconds.
Low battery level: When opening, the orange light goes off after 5 seconds.
Note: When two earbuds are in the charging case, the LED will indicate the battery of the one with the lower battery level.

Resetting OpenFit will clear the list of paired devices and reset all settings.

How do I answer/end/reject a call?
Answer a call:Double-tap either earbud

Does OpenFit have a microphone?
Yes! OpenFit has a Dual Mic Noise Reduction and AI Algorithm microphone so that you can answer and make a call with it.
After the OpenFit is connected, how to select the microphone channel on the laptop/PC?
(For Windows 10 and below system):
After the successful connection to a laptop. There are 2 channels for you to choose from.
Channel 1: Headphone (OpenFit by Shokz Hands-Free AG Audio)
This channel is used to manage voice calls, etc.
Channel 2: Headphone (2-OpenFit by Shokz Stereo)
This channel is used to manage the music channel, for listening to music, watching video and other audio output.
You can change the Channel via the bottom volume icon.
(For Windows 11 system):
Under the system, the audio channel chosen depends on the Bluetooth drive.
(For Mac series)

Troubleshooting
My OpenFit is not disconnected from the device after putting it into the charging case.
If your OpenFit is not disconnected from the device after putting it into the charging case, there are usually two reasons why this might be happening. You can try to do that by the following instructions:
- Make sure the earbuds are in contact with the charging case pin point. If not, simply reposition them until they click into place.
- Check if the charging case has enough power. If it's low on power, simply charge the OpenFit.
If the problem still exists, you can file a warranty claim
here within 2-year warranty period.
When the OpenFit earbuds are put into the charging case, the charging case inner state indicator won't light.
There are usually two reasons why this might be happening. You can try to do that by the following instructions:
- Make sure the earbuds are in contact with the charging case pin point. If not, simply reposition them until they click into place.
- Check if the charging case has enough power. If it's low on power, simply charge the OpenFit.
If the problem still exists, you can file a warranty claim

When the OpenFit charging case is connected to an external power supply, the charging case external state indicator won't light.
Please check the power supply is workable and try another USB-C charging cable or charger again. If the problem still exists, you can file a warranty claim

The volume of the left and right earbuds is not consistent.
When using it for the first time: please adjust the wearing position of the earbud until sounds in same volume. When using it for a while, We suggest that you can put OpenFit in a dry place for a few days. If the problem still exists, kindly email at shokz@denaster.com
My OpenFit earbud's touch area won't work.
Please try to follow the step:
- Check if the OpenFit is connected to the device.
- Disconnect the OpenFit.
- Reconnect the OpenFit.
If the problem still exists, you can file a warranty claim

My OpenFit only has sound on one side.
If using a phone, please check your accessibility settings to ensure the volume is equally balanced between both left and right sides.
After checking the phone’s accessibility settings, please try to follow the step:
- Charge the earbuds for a while.
- Reset OpenFit.
- Pair your OpenFit again.
If the above step can't be helpful to you, you can file a warranty claim

The ear hook on my OpenFit is snapped.

The listeners can't hear my voice clearly.

My OpenFit can't auto-connect to the previously connected device.
The OpenFit can auto connect to the previously connected device in the following two situations:
- When the earbuds are on, they will automatically try to connect to the most recently connected device and issue a prompt when the connection is successful.
- During use, the earbuds may disconnect from the paired device due to limitations of connection range. If the earbud automatically re-connects within 3 minutes, it will issue a prompt.
*The paired devices must be within connection range (10m) and must be powered on. Make sure your intended device has Bluetooth enabled.
If OpenFit still can't be auto-connect to the device based on above two situations,Please file a warranty claim

How do I store my OpenFit?
This product should be stored in a cool and dry place.Keep the product away from heat, combustible gases, and other cleaning/corrosive liquids. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and use/placement in any high-temperature location.
Is OpenFit a bone conduction headphone?
OpenFit isn't a bone conduction headphone.
